| Man am I ever tired! I was up till one last night working on my letter of intent for a big proposal (term project for my ecology class). It was supposed to be due today, so I was somewhat mad when we got a two day extension....oh well it definatley still needs some tweaking so I am not going to complain. I chose to propose a study on "How the loss of Wetland Habitat by oil and gas Development Affects Waterfowl (Specifically Mallard), in the Peace Region", yah I know quite the mouth-full! Wade really helped me out with determining a topic. 
I'm really looking forward to working on this proposal, since wetlands are so neat! and because the two best proposals will win a $1000 bursary! Pretty sweet to get paid for doing homework! I love going to school up here, there are so many available scholarships and bursaries, yet small amounts of students, ie. there are only 6 people currently in my program! Its great to have such a tiny class because there is a lot more focus on you specifically and lots of interaction with the Profs and other students. Not only that but their are so many great jobs available to us when we are done. Totally love it! | | |
| So yesterday was my moms b-day, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARM! It was pretty sweet, Harrison and I got her a hot mom outfit, because we were tired of her country bumbkin clothes, it was awesome she totally loved it and we were able to talk her in to doing some more shopping. I've been really bad this weekend, I have a ton of homework and studying but just started now. Martin is going to kick my ass! Thursday nights I have school until 9:00 pm and it just so happens that this last thursday was also pub night at our school, so of course we had to have a few drinks.....one thing led to another and yeah ended up stumbling home at 4:00 in the morning! It was tons of fun though since we had a girls night out. Then last night was a friend's birthday as well, so ended up partying with a bunch of Waberski Darrow people, and yeah ended up stumbling home again! Oh well, I haven't partied in a long time so I figure that its all good. I just wish poor Martin had been there! Well gotta run and hit the books now! | | |

| Once again it seems that time is flying.....I've been keeping pretty busy with school, and have some really interesting courses this semester.....so far have been enjoying them! Poor Martin is in camp right now until Thursday, Its weird not to have him around since he hasn't been to camp in awhile. He is about an hour outside of Tumbler Ridge, somewhere in the bush, so I can't even go to visit him.  I guess I shouldn't complain since Tyler is in Rainbow Lake, Alberta for a month, haha! Next weekend is going to be pretty sweet, we are going to go with our friends Jenn and Tyler to their trapline, and stay in their cabin, its going to be awesome! Apparently we are going to have to snowmobile in since there is no road, its completely hidden to try to keep other people from using it. This August Martin and I are going to JAMAICA!!! The same friends (Ty and Jenn) are getting married and didn't want to have a big wedding so they decided to have it there. Their going to be renting an 8 bedroom Villa for a week, the Villa has 3 swimming pools and is 5 min from the Ocean, it also has a cook, maid, pool boy, and chauffeur! The best part is that we only have to pay $1000 each! It will only be our group of 17 staying there and everything is included except booze, yeeho!! It is going to be so cool!!!! We might also be going somewhere on my reading break but not sure yet, we might just end up staying home and doing bathroom renos instead. Well I should run, its 2:30 am and I should really get my ass to bed! | | |
| Only two weeks to go and I will finally be done for the Christmas break, I have 2 term projects due next week, and 3 exams.....yay! What fun! Its going to be so nice to have a break, and see family. Martin and I are hopefully going to make a trip to Powder King, I haven't been there yet so it should be fun. Here are some pictures of my dog and her love affair with our curtains....its actually quite creepy she does this all the time!
